The Mental Wellness Club is like a gym membership or Netflix subscription but for your mental health.

Worried about being in a group environment? Don’t worry, you can get involved as much or as little as you’d like to. There is no requirement to post anything, ask questions publicly or do anything you don’t want to. If you want you can just go in, look through the resources, watch the videos, read the posts and never say anything! Alternatively you can post regularly, share your journey and ask for support. OR anything in between, it’s completely up to you.
Growing up, Lucy always felt shy and was afraid to speak up, normally feeling nervous at school and in public. Unaware of anxiety or mental health in general, Lucy carried on with life thinking this was all normal. It wasn’t until she was in her late teens that the anxiety and panic attacks grew stronger and were harder to ignore.
One day, after an overwhelming amount of physical symptoms while in a supermarket, Lucy finally phoned the doctors to see if there was anything that could help. A week later she was diagnosed with severe anxiety and panic disorder and began counselling sessions. This was the first time Lucy had heard those words and she had no idea about mental health or what to do.
Fast forward to today, Lucy has spent the last decade researching mental health, anxiety, self-help and everything in between to get to a place of understanding and managing her anxiety on a daily basis. No more anxiety while driving and no more supermarket panic attacks!
